 St. Mary’s Council of Catholic Women, Dover Boonton Chapter is a
member of the Paterson Diocesan Council (PDCCW) and the National Council of
Catholic Women (NCCW). We are one of
the strongest Catholic organizations for women in
America
.
Our patron is Our Lady of Good Counsel.
Our moderator is Reverend Monsignor James H. Murray.
We are a spiritual organization, not a fund-raising group.
We provide opportunities for spiritual growth, mission projects and
friendship and educate each other on current Catholic issues..
We have quarterly meetings with other Women’s Group from
each Parish in the Paterson Diocese. It
is usually a luncheon meeting full of communication, information and networking.
Every Parish has an opportunity to speak about what the women in their
Parish are working on now and what they have done through the year.
As an organization we at St. Mary’s:

up and sponsor observance of Divine Mercy Sunday

Meet
every Monday morning after
8:00 a.m.
Mass and pray the Divine Mercy Novena prayers

Make rosary beads
-
Collect prayer cards, religious books

Sponsor “Pray for the Consecrated” during Lent

Sponsor Bible Study

Have Guest Speakers

String Miraculous Medals

Many more religious projects to increase your devotion!
We very much appreciate the participation of St. Mary’s parish members
in the functions we sponsor. They
always come through so generously, as they did with our recent diaper
collection. Ladies of St. Mary’s,
you are invited to join our Group. All
of you have something you can contribute. Feel
free to submit ideas to our group. We
are always looking for, and are in need of new members.
