According to Diocesan Law, each parish in the Diocese of Paterson must have an established Finance Committee. The committee is appointed by the Pastor upon the recommendations of Finance Committee Members, Trustees and other Parishioners as well as those chosen by the Pastor.

The Committee, which is advisory in appointment, meets to discuss current financial matters, project future financial needs, goals and objectives. In general, it is the responsibility of the Committee to ‘take the pulse’ of the parish and keep the Pastor informed of its findings and judgments.
