MASH, or, St. Mary’s Association of Service and Help, is a member of the Meals on Wheels program. Its goal is to provide nutritional, well-balanced meals to seniors in our community who may be homebound or unable to prepare meals for themselves. We have a devoted roster of drivers who are scheduled approximately one day per month to deliver meals. Deliveries are provided Monday – Friday but not on Holidays. The meals are prepared at a local site and delivered to the MASH vehicle at the Township recycling center.

Volunteers then deliver the meals to local seniors’ homes. The delivery route takes about 1 ½ to 2 hrs. maximum starting at about 11:15am. But I believe the seniors look forward to seeing a friendly face as much as they do the hot meal. It’s a very rewarding way to spend 2 hours.
